Kappo Masa is a Japanese fine dining experience located on Madison Avenue in New York City. Led by Chef Masayoshi “Masa” Takayama, the restaurant blends traditional Japanese technique with modern artistry.
Renowned for his precision and seasonal creativity, Chef Masa crafts omakase and kappo experiences that emphasise purity of ingredient and considered execution. Part of the Masa Restaurant Group, Kappo Masa represents one expression of Masa’s broader culinary vision, which spans multiple locations across New York and London.
Together, we reimagined the group’s digital presence through a system that reflects the intentional, experimental and quietly luxurious nature of Masa’s philosophy—rooted in the principles of shibui —subtle beauty, quiet elegance and simplicity.
